Ek Badi Samasya 🤯
Ek chemist ko reaction (abhikriya) karani hai jisme "2 hydrogen atoms + 1 oxygen atom" chahiye. Lekin atoms ko ginna toh namumkin hai - wo dikhte hi nahi! Chemist toh sirf taraazu (balance) use kar sakta hai, yaani grams naap sakta hai.
Toh sawaal ye hai: grams ko atoms ki ginti se kaise jodein? Iska jawab hai chemistry ka sabse powerful idea - Mole.
Jab aap ande khareedne jaate ho, aap "12 ande" nahi kehte - aap kehte ho "ek darjan".
Darjan ek "counting unit" hai jo 12 ke liye hai. Isi tarah kagaz ke liye "ream" (500 sheets) hoti
hai.
Atoms itne chhote hote hain ki unke liye 12 ya 500 kaafi nahi - unke liye chahiye ek
bahut bada counting unit. Wahi hai MOLE!
🔢 Mole aur Avogadro Number
📌 1 mole = 6.022 × 10²³ particles (atoms, molecules ya ions).
Is number ko Avogadro Number (N₀) kehte hain - Amedeo Avogadro ke naam par.
Ye number kitna bada hai? 6.022 × 10²³ ka matlab hai 602,200,000,000,000,000,000,000 - yaani 6 ke baad 23 zero! Itna bada number chahiye kyunki atoms itne chhote hain.
Agar aapke paas 1 mole (6.022 × 10²³) chawal ke daane hon, toh wo poori prithvi ki surface ko kai meter moti parat se dhak dete! Lekin 1 mole paani ke molecules sirf 18 gram (lagbhag 18 mL - 3-4 chammach) hote hain. Atoms itne chhote hain!
⚖️ Molar Mass - Jaadu Ki Kadi
Ab sabse khoobsurat baat: 1 mole ka mass grams mein, us cheez ki atomic/molecular mass ke barabar hota hai (bas unit u ki jagah gram)!
📌 Molar Mass = 1 mole ka mass grams mein = atomic/molecular mass ka number (g/mol).
| Substance | Molecular/Atomic Mass | Molar Mass (1 mole ka vazan) | Kitne particles |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carbon (C) | 12 u | 12 g | 6.022 × 10²³ atoms |
| Paani (H₂O) | 18 u | 18 g | 6.022 × 10²³ molecules |
| CO₂ | 44 u | 44 g | 6.022 × 10²³ molecules |
| NaCl | 58.5 u | 58.5 g | 6.022 × 10²³ formula units |
📐 Teen zaroori formulas:
1. Moles (n) = Given mass ÷ Molar mass (n = m / M)
2. Mass = Moles × Molar mass
3. Number of particles = Moles × 6.022 × 10²³
🧮 Solved Examples
✔ Example 1 - 36 g paani mein kitne moles hain?
Molar mass of H₂O = 18 g
Moles = mass ÷ molar mass = 36 ÷ 18 = 2 moles
✔ Example 2 - 0.5 mole CO₂ ka mass kitna hoga?
Molar mass of CO₂ = 44 g
Mass = moles × molar mass = 0.5 × 44 = 22 g
✔ Example 3 - 2 moles mein kitne molecules hain?
Particles = moles × 6.022 × 10²³
= 2 × 6.022 × 10²³ = 1.2044 × 10²⁴ molecules
✔ Example 4 - 12 g carbon mein kitne atoms hain?
Step 1: Moles = 12 ÷ 12 = 1 mole
Step 2: Atoms = 1 × 6.022 × 10²³ = 6.022 × 10²³ atoms
✔ Example 5 - 3.011 × 10²³ paani ke molecules ka mass?
Step 1: Moles = (3.011 × 10²³) ÷ (6.022 × 10²³) = 0.5 mole
Step 2: Mass = 0.5 × 18 = 9 g
✔ Example 6 - 5 moles NaCl ka mass?
Molar mass NaCl = 23 + 35.5 = 58.5 g
Mass = 5 × 58.5 = 292.5 g

🇮🇳 Bharat Ka Yogdaan
Acharya P.C. Ray ek mahaan Indian chemist the jinhone naye compounds ki khoj ki (jaise mercurous nitrate) aur Bharat mein modern chemistry research ki neev rakhi. Unhone Bengal Chemical & Pharmaceutical Works (1901) shuru ki - Bharat ki pehli badi dawa (pharmaceutical) company - taaki desh dawaiyon ke liye aatmanirbhar bane. Wo kehte the ki vigyan sirf kitaabon mein nahi, desh ke kaam aana chahiye.
