Har Aawaz Alag Kyun Hoti Hai? 🎤

Ek chidiya ki chahchahat aur ek sher ki dahaad - dono sound hain, par kitni alag! Ek patli-teekhi, doosri mothi-gehri. Ek dheemi, doosri bahut tez. Aur aap apni maa ki aawaz phone par bina dekhe pehchaan lete ho. Ye sab sound wave ki teen khaas visheshtaon (characteristics) ki wajah se hota hai. Aao pehle wave ki bhaasha samjhein.

📏 Wave Ke Teen Naap

1. Wavelength (Tarangdairghya, λ)

Do lagaataar compressions (ya do crests) ke beech ki doori. Ise Greek letter λ (lambda) se likhte hain. Unit: metre (m).

2. Frequency (Aavritti, f)

Ek second mein kitni waves guzarti hain (kitne compressions bante hain). Unit: Hertz (Hz). 1 Hz = 1 wave per second. Frequency vibrating source par depend karti hai - jo cheez jitni tez vibrate karegi, utni zyada frequency.

3. Amplitude (Aayaam, A)

Wave apni normal (rest) position se kitni zyada hilti hai - yani wave ki "oonchai". Zyada zor se hilaoge toh amplitude zyada. Ye sound ki energy dikhata hai.

📌 Ek aur naap: Time Period (T) = ek poori wave banne mein laga samay. Frequency aur time period ulte (inverse) hote hain: f = 1 / T. Agar T = 0.01 s, toh f = 100 Hz.

Pitch batata hai ki aawaz patli (teekhi/shrill) hai ya mothi (gehri/deep). Zyada frequency = zyada pitch (patli aawaz, jaise chidiya, seeti, bachche ki aawaz). Kam frequency = kam pitch (mothi aawaz, jaise sher ki dahaad, dhol, aadmi ki aawaz).

🔊 Loudness (Prabalta) - Amplitude par depend

Loudness batata hai aawaz kitni tez ya dheemi hai. Zyada amplitude = zyada loud (zor se dhol bajao). Kam amplitude = dheemi aawaz (halke se bajao). Loudness ko decibel (dB) mein naapte hain.

🎨 Timbre (GuNvatta) - Aawaz ki "pehchaan"

Timbre wo khaas quality hai jisse hum same pitch aur loudness wali do aawazon ko alag pehchaante hain. Isiliye piano aur bansuri same sur bajayein toh bhi alag lagte hain, aur aap apne dost ki aawaz phone par pehchaan lete ho.

Fusfusahat (whisper) ~30 dB, normal baat ~60 dB, traffic ~80 dB, aur rocket launch ~180 dB! Bahut tez aawaz (85 dB se zyada, lambe samay) kaanon ko nuksaan pahuncha sakti hai. Isiliye headphone bahut tez volume par mat suno - kaan ki suraksha zaroori hai.

Wave ki speed, frequency aur wavelength - teenon ka ek khoobsurat rishta hai:

📐 Speed = Frequency × Wavelength
v = f × λ
(v = m/s, f = Hz, λ = m)

Iska matlab: ek hi medium (maadhyam) mein sound ki speed toh fixed hoti hai, isliye agar frequency zyada ho toh wavelength kam hoti hai (aur ulta) - taaki v wahi rahe.

✔ Example 1: Speed nikalna

Ek sound wave ki frequency 500 Hz hai aur wavelength 0.7 m. Speed?
v = f × λ = 500 × 0.7 = 350 m/s.

✔ Example 2: Wavelength nikalna

Hawa mein sound ki speed 340 m/s hai. 170 Hz ki aawaz ki wavelength?
λ = v / f = 340 / 170 = 2 m.

✔ Example 3: Frequency nikalna

Speed 340 m/s, wavelength 0.85 m. Frequency?
f = v / λ = 340 / 0.85 = 400 Hz.

✔ Example 4: Time period se

Ek tuning fork ka time period 0.004 s hai. Frequency?
f = 1 / T = 1 / 0.004 = 250 Hz.
