📌 Catenation: Carbon atoms ka aapas mein judkar lambi shrinkhalaein (chains), shakhaein (branches) aur chakra (rings) banane ki kshamata.
Carbon-carbon bond itna majboot aur sthir hai ki hazaron carbon atoms ek line mein jud sakte hain! Doosre element bhi catenation dikhate hain (jaise silicon, sulphur) par unke bond kamzor hote hain — silicon sirf 7-8 atoms tak hi jud paata hai, uske baad chain toot jaati hai.

Carbon ka atomic number 6 hai → electrons 2, 4. Bahri shell mein 4 electrons hain, aur octet ke liye 4 aur chahiye.
