Oxygen Ka Aana Aur Jaana 🔬
Chapter ka aakhri aur sabse zaroori topic. Class 10 level par ise samajhna bahut aasaan hai - bas dekhna hai ki oxygen jud raha hai ya hat raha hai (ya hydrogen ulta).
📌 Oxidation (oxeekaran): Oxygen ka judna, ya hydrogen ka hatna.
📌 Reduction (apchayan): Oxygen ka hatna, ya hydrogen ka judna.
OIL RIG nahi, Class 10 ke liye sabse simple: "Oxidation = Oxygen Increase". Aur Reduction = Oxygen Reduce. Bas itna yaad rakho, aadhe se zyada sawaal ban jaayenge!
♻️ Redox Reaction — Dono Ek Saath
Sabse important baat: oxidation aur reduction hamesha SAATH-SAATH hote hain. Agar ek cheez se oxygen hat raha hai, toh wo oxygen kahin na kahin ja hi raha hai - yani doosri cheez se jud raha hai! Aisi reaction (abhikriya) ko redox reaction (REDuction + OXidation) kehte hain.

CuO(s) + H₂(g) → Cu(s) + H₂O(l)
Yahan dekho:
• CuO se oxygen hat gaya → CuO ka reduction hua
• H₂ mein oxygen jud gaya → H₂ ka oxidation hua
Dono ek saath hue → ye ek redox reaction hai.

🦠 Rozmarra Mein Oxidation Ke Do Asar
Oxidation sirf lab ki cheez nahi - ye roz aapka nuksaan karti hai. Do bade udaharan:
1️⃣ Corrosion (Zang / Ksharan)
Jab metal (dhaatu) hawa ki nami aur oxygen se dheere-dheere react karke kharab hoti hai, use corrosion kehte hain. Lohe par lagne wali bhoori-laal parat hi zang (rust) hai.

🛡️ Zang se bachne ke tareeke: paint karna, tel/grease lagana, galvanisation (zinc ki parat chadhana), aur alloy banana (jaise stainless steel). Sabka ek hi maqsad hai - lohe ko hawa aur paani se door rakhna.
Zang koi chhoti samasya nahi - duniya bhar mein har saal corrosion se arbon rupaye ka nuksaan hota hai. Pul, railway lines, jahaz, gaadiyan - sab isse kamzor hote hain. Isiliye engineering mein "corrosion protection" ek poora vishay hai.
2️⃣ Rancidity (Baasipan)
Jab tel ya ghee wala khaana lambe samay tak hawa mein rehta hai, toh usme maujood chikanai (fats aur oils) oxidise ho jaati hai - jisse uska swaad aur gandh kharab ho jaati hai. Isse rancidity kehte hain.
🥫 Rancidity rokne ke tareeke:
• Antioxidants milana (packet wale khane mein)
• Nitrogen gas bharkar packing karna (chips ke packet phooley kyun hote hain? Usme
hawa nahi, nitrogen hai - taaki oxygen chips ko kharab na kare!)
• Airtight bartan mein rakhna
• Fridge mein rakhna (thandak se reaction dheemi)
Aapne socha hai ki chips ke packet mein aadhi hawa kyun hoti hai? Wo "hawa" asal mein nitrogen gas hai! Nitrogen bahut kam reactive hai, isliye wo chips ke tel ko oxidise nahi hone deti - chips mahinon tak taaze rehte hain. Agar usme normal hawa (oxygen) hoti, toh chips hafte bhar mein baasi ho jaate. Aur bonus - gas ka cushion chips ko toot'ne se bhi bachata hai!
