Zinda Hai Ya Nahi — Kaise Pata Chale? 🤔

Ek chalti hui gaadi aur ek sota hua kutta — dono mein se kaun zinda hai? Aasaan lagta hai, par sochne par mushkil ho jaata hai. Gaadi chalti hai, aawaz karti hai, "petrol khaati" hai — phir bhi zinda nahi. Aur sota hua kutta bilkul shaant hai — phir bhi zinda hai. Toh farak kya hai?

Ek bargad ka ped 200 saal se ek hi jagah khada hai — na chalta hai, na bolta hai. Phir bhi wo zinda hai, kyunki uske andar har pal khaana ban raha hai, paani upar chadh raha hai, cells ban rahe hain aur mar rahe hain. Aur ek pankha? Wo ghoomta hai, aawaz karta hai, bijli "khaata" hai — par uske andar kuch nahi banta ya sudharta. Isiliye wo nirjeev hai.

🐛 Chhote Jeev vs Bade Jeev

Ek ek-koshiya (unicellular) jeev jaise Amoeba ko koi khaas ang (organ) nahi chahiye — uska poora shareer hi seedhe paani se oxygen le leta hai aur kachra chhod deta hai, kyunki har hissa bahar ke sampark mein hai.

Par jaise-jaise jeev bada aur jatil (complex) hota gaya, andar ke cells bahar se door ho gaye — sirf diffusion se kaam nahi chal sakta. Isiliye bade jeevon mein khaas ang (organs) aur tantra (systems) bane:

Sirf diffusion se oxygen lagbhag 1 millimetre tak hi theek se pahunch sakti hai! Isiliye koi bhi bada jeev sirf diffusion par nahi jee sakta — usse khoon aur dil chahiye hi chahiye. Yahi wajah hai ki keede (insects) kabhi bahut bade nahi ho sakte — unke paas hamare jaisa khoon ka tantra nahi hai.
