Hans Christian Oersted Denmark mein ek professor the. Ek din class mein wo bijli par prayog dikha rahe the. Table par ek compass bhi rakha tha — bina kisi khaas wajah ke.

Jaise hi unhone taar mein current chalu kiya, compass ki sui achanak hil gayi.

Us zamaane tak duniya maanti thi ki bijli aur magnet do bilkul alag cheezein hain — jinka koi rishta nahi. Oersted ne dekha ki bijli se magnetic field banta hai.
