Atom Ki Khoj & Subatomic Particles โš›๏ธ

Hello Students! ๐Ÿ‘‹

Ek kaagaz ke tukde ko baar-baar aadha kaato. Ek waqt aayega jab tukda itna chhota ho jaayega ki use aur nahi kaat paoge. Isi sabse chhote hisse ko - jo us cheez ke gun (properties) rakhta hai - hum Atom (parmaanu) kehte hain. "Atom" Greek word "a-tomos" se aaya hai, jiska matlab hai "jise kaata na ja sake" (indivisible).

Atoms itne chhote hote hain ki hum unhe aankhon se (ya normal microscope se bhi) nahi dekh sakte. Ek atom ka size lagbhag 0.0000000001 metre (10โปยนโฐ m) hai. Kitna chhota? Ek sui ki nok par karodon (crores) atoms aa sakte hain! Phir bhi, is chhoti si cheez ke andar ek poori duniya chhupi hai - jise samajhna hi is chapter ka maqsad hai.

๐Ÿž Analogy: Roti ka Aata

Ek roti (bread) ko todo toh chhote tukde milenge. Un tukdon ko aur todo... ek waqt aayega jab tumhare paas aate ke sabse chhote kann bachenge jinke aage todne par wo "aata" hi nahi rahega. Bas aise hi har element (tatva) ka apna sabse chhota kann - atom - hota hai. Sone (gold) ka atom, oxygen ka atom, sabke apne alag atoms.

๐Ÿ“œ Dalton Ki Theory - Aur Uska "Toot-na"

Saal 1808 mein John Dalton ne kaha ki atom sabse chhota kann hai jise toda nahi ja sakta (indivisible). Ye theory bahut kaam ki thi, lekin baad mein galat saabit hui - kyunki scientists ne khoja ki atom ke andar bhi aur chhote particles hote hain! Inhe subatomic particles (atom se chhote kann) kehte hain: Electron, Proton, aur Neutron.

๐Ÿ“Œ Aaj hum jaante hain: Atom "indivisible" nahi hai. Iske teen main parts hain - Electron (negative), Proton (positive), aur Neutron (no charge). Chaliye har ek ki khoj ki kahani dekhein.

โž– Electron - Sabse Pehli Khoj

J.J. Thomson ne 1897 mein cathode ray (kiran) tube ke experiment se Electron khoja - ye atom ke andar mila pehla particle tha. Usne dekha ki ek tube mein se ek "ray" (ray) nikalti hai jo negative charge wale particles ki bani hoti hai, aur ye har material mein milti hai.

๐Ÿ“บ Purana TV aur Electron

Purane, mote (CRT) TV aur computer monitors bilkul cathode ray tube ke principle par chalte the - electron ki ray screen par takraakar image banaati thi! Toh jab aap purana TV dekh rahe hote the, aap asal mein electrons ka khel dekh rahe the.

โž• Proton - Positive Charge Wala

E. Goldstein ne "canal rays" ke experiment se positive charge wale particles dekhe, aur baad mein Ernest Rutherford ne Proton ki pehchaan ki - ye atom ke center (nucleus) mein hota hai.

๐Ÿ“Œ Proton bahut khaas hai! Kisi atom mein kitne protons hain - yahi decide karta hai ki wo kaunsa element hai. 1 proton = Hydrogen, 6 protons = Carbon, 8 protons = Oxygen. Proton badla, toh element hi badal gaya!

โšช Neutron - Bina Charge Wala

James Chadwick ne 1932 mein Neutron khoja - ye sabse baad mein mila kyunki iska koi charge nahi hota, isliye ise detect karna mushkil tha.

๐Ÿ“Š Teeno Particles - Ek Nazar Mein

๐Ÿ“Œ Atom ka lagbhag poora mass nucleus mein hota hai (protons + neutrons), kyunki electron ka mass na ke barabar hai. Lekin atom ka size (jagah) zyada-tar electrons ke ghoomne ki wajah se hota hai - nucleus toh bahut chhota hota hai.

โš–๏ธ Atom Neutral Kyun Hota Hai?

Ek normal atom electrically neutral (no charge) hota hai. Kaise? Kyunki usme protons ki sankhya = electrons ki sankhya hoti hai. Positive (+) charge aur negative (โˆ’) charge barabar hone se ek doosre ko cancel kar dete hain.

โœ” Example - Carbon atom:

Carbon mein 6 protons (+6) aur 6 electrons (โˆ’6) hote hain. +6 aur โˆ’6 milkar 0 (neutral) ho jaate hain. Isi liye atom par koi net charge nahi hota.

๐ŸŒž Analogy: Solar System

Ek atom bilkul ek chhote solar system jaisa hai! Beech mein nucleus (jaise Sooraj) - bhaari, protons aur neutrons se bhara. Aur uske charon taraf electrons (jaise grah/ planets) alag-alag orbits mein ghoomte hain. Farak sirf itna: yahan grah gravity se nahi, electric force se bandhe hain.

๐Ÿง  Chalo Test Karein! (Quick Quiz)

Apne aap ko check karo ๐Ÿ‘‡

Q1. Electron ki khoj kisne ki?
Q2. Kis particle par koi charge nahi hota?
Q3. Atom ka lagbhag poora mass kahan hota hai?
Q4. Atom neutral kyun hota hai?
Q5. Proton kahan hota hai?

๐Ÿ“Œ Aage Kya? (Coming Next)

Ab hum dekhenge ki scientists ne atom ki structure ko samajhne ke liye alag-alag models banaye - Thomson se lekar Rutherford (famous gold-foil experiment) aur Bohr tak.
