Dono Laws Ka Jawab: Atoms! 💡
Pichle lesson mein humne do laws dekhe. Lekin sawaal ye tha - aisa hota kyun hai? Saal 1808 mein John Dalton ne ek simple lekin kranti-kari (revolutionary) jawab diya: "Kyunki saara matter chhote-chhote, na tootne wale kannon - atoms - se bana hai!" Unki theory ne dono laws ko ek saath explain kar diya.
📜 Dalton's Atomic Theory - 5 Postulates
- Saara matter bahut chhote kannon se bana hai jinhe atoms kehte hain.
- Atoms ko toda nahi ja sakta; na wo banaye ja sakte hain, na nasht kiye ja sakte hain.
- Ek hi element (tatva) ke saare atoms ek jaise (identical) hote hain - unka mass aur properties same hote hain.
- Alag-alag elements ke atoms ke mass aur properties alag hote hain.
- Atoms aapas mein chhote poore numbers (small whole numbers) ke ratio (anupaat) mein judkar compounds banate hain.

❌ Kaunse Postulates Baad Mein Galat Nikle?
Science mein theories waqt ke saath sudharti hain. Dalton ki theory zyada-tar sahi thi, lekin do baatein baad mein galat saabit hui:
- "Atom ko toda nahi ja sakta" - galat! Baad mein electron, proton, neutron khoje gaye (pichhla chapter yaad karo). Atom vibhajya (divisible) hai.
- "Ek element ke saare atoms ka mass same hota hai" - galat! Kyunki isotopes hote hain, jinke mass alag hote hain (jaise Cl-35 aur Cl-37).
Dalton ki theory poori tarah sahi na hone ke baad bhi, wo chemistry ki sabse important theories mein se ek maani jaati hai! Kyunki science aage badhta hai - purani theory ki kami dhoondh kar hi nayi, behtar theory banti hai. Galti maan lena vigyan ki taakat hai, kamzori nahi.
⚖️ Atomic Mass - Atom Ko Tolein Kaise?
Ek atom itna chhota hai ki use kisi taraazu par tolna namumkin hai (ek hydrogen atom ka mass lagbhag 0.00000000000000000000000166 gram hota hai!). Toh scientists ne ek chalaak tareeka nikaala: relative mass - yaani ek atom ka mass kisi standard atom se tulna karke batao.
Socho aapke paas taraazu nahi hai, lekin aapko batana hai ki aam kitna bhaari hai. Aap keh sakte ho: "Ye aam 3 nimbu ke barabar bhaari hai." Yahan nimbu aapka "standard" ban gaya. Bilkul isi tarah scientists ne ek atom ko standard maankar baaki sabka mass uske "kitne gune" ke roop mein bataya.

atom ke mass ka 1/12 (baarahwa hissa).
Isi liye Carbon ki atomic mass thik 12 u hoti hai.
